Rebecca Pleitez,
Deputy Director of Grassroots Advocacy

Rebecca started in April of 2019 as the Deputy Director of Grassroots Advocacy, a new position in the organization, to work on building advocacy infrastructure and continuing to strengthen CPCA’s 501(c)4 affiliate, CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates. She previously served as an advisor to Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo and was Community Relations and Policy Director at Clínica Monseñor Oscar Romero. Rebecca received her MPH in Global Health/Maternal and Child Health at Loma Linda University and her BS in Community Health/Healthcare Administration from California State University, Long Beach.


Trong Le,
Associate Director of Policy

Trong joined CaliforniaHealth+ Advocates in March 2019 to focus on Managed Care and FQHC/330 program issues. He previously served as a consultant with Manatt Health, an interdisciplinary policy and business advisory practice of the national law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, where he conducted qualitative and quantitative research and strategic analysis on healthcare business and policy issues for a full spectrum of healthcare stakeholders. He also worked at Partnership Health Plan of California, supporting implementation of state and federal policy initiatives and monitoring federal and state legislation and regulation related to Medicaid policies. Trong holds a JD from the University of Iowa College of Law, an MPH from George Washington University, and a BS in Microbiology from the University of California, Berkeley.
